a brief introduction in relation to my person:

i am a young teenager. i am taking grade 10 and grade 11 courses (that's sophomore and junior year for you americans).

i love science. physics and biology are very dear to my heart.

i am from lahore - the paris of the east and heart of pakistan. i am quite fond of the place i come from and am interested in its history to a fervent extent.

in a broader sense, i am interested in islamic history altogether.

i have very strong opinions on the british raj.

i will forever mourn the fact that i never learnt farsi, a language much of my family speaks. i love farsi poetry and would quite like to learn to read it in its original tongue.

i love kashmir. i want to go to astore district and see the pretty valleys in the snow. the destruction of kashmir pains me.

i love to read poetry, to daydream, to research random topics, and to go for long walks through the depths of winter.

i love to wear ushankas and coats.

i am rambling now, i think. that's all.
